Get to Know Me

Michelle has always had a love and passion for all animals. Horses and dogs in particular. Owning dogs and horses all her life. Michelle started working with horses as a job from the age of 11 years old and was teaching in a local riding school by the age of 15 yrs old. Starting her BHS qualifications at the age of 17 yrs old and went on to take many equestian qualifications including NVQ lv3 TAQA and UKCC to name a few.  

in 2014 Michelle expanded her knowlage into dog grooming 

Michelle has gained more qualifications since  to include Canine, Equine and Feline Psychology training & Behavior and is a fully qualified Cat and Dog Groomer. NVQ assessors qualification level 3 TAQA and level 4 LCGI.  Mendip Grooming is working towards becoming a training center.  

Michelle is relaxed and friendly and our aim at Mendip Grooming and 1st Riding is to offer a quality stress free grooming service, and riding experience.
